MDOT Team Takes Trolley Tour

Today, members of Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), Tetra Tech, Hennessey Engineers, and other stakeholders, took a step back in time and explored historic Port Huron on the city museum’s Trolley Tour. The tour was a “kickoff” to an upcoming MDOT project that will reconstruct I-94 from Black River to Glenwood Avenue in downtown Port Huron. The tour, led by Andrew Kercher, Manager of Community Engagement at Port Huron Museums, and James Soto, Professor of English and Philosophy at St. Clair Community College, was part of an effort to get to know the city, its people, and its history. Both men are passionate about their city and desire to have a thriving downtown.

Tetra Tech asked our newly formed Traffic Engineering Group to provide traffic plan maintenance services as a subconsultant. Liz Harding, P.E., Susan Melcher, P.E., and Dan Fortushniak represented Hennessey Engineers at the event.
