Market Center Park

Market Center Park is a prime example of the adaptive reuse of a commercial site. What was once the home of Montgomery Ward in the Southgate Shopping Center, this new public park/entertainment complex hosts live events and social gatherings for the entire community. The site features a large gazebo shelter, performance amphitheater with integrated terraced seating, public restrooms, and walking paths. Market Center Park is home to a thriving farmers market with room for local vendors and artists.
