Ecorse Commons Redevelopment Project

The Ecorse Commons Redevelopment Project transformed an existing industrial site into two new buildings, 410,000 ft² and 245,000 ft² on 69.48 acres. Hennessey Engineers provided services to mitigate wetlands, floodplains, floodway contamination, and poor soils and tackled the project within a tight timeline. The project included site development, land surveying, hydraulic analysis, and flood control studies.

To minimize development costs, an existing stormwater system within Ring Road was incorporated into a new stormwater management system, and perimeter ditches for surface and roof drainage were utilized.
